Denali's caregiver supplied the following:

Denali is sweet and enjoys being loved on, but is also anxious. Her response to being startled by a noise is to tuck tail and run. Her response to being worried by a person is to flip on the ground and be submissive. She is very attentive to everything that is going on around her.

She is food motivated.

She is house broken (has not tried to mark) has had no accidents, goes to the door when she wants to go out and sleeps through the night.

Ideally, I would suggest a quiet household without young children where someone is home. She needs some confidence - so she will thrive with someone who  is calm and consistent.

Good with Dogs, Requires a yard

All BBHR dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on shots, checked for heart worm and are on heart guard and flea preventative. If interested in one of our dogs please fill out an application at www.buckeyebassetrescue.org

Please note: This application is forwarded to several Buckeye Basset Hound Rescue volunteers who respond in a coordinated effort. Your personal information will never be shared. If you are contacted and we do not receive a response within two (2) weeks then your application will not be considered.
