Notes from his caregiver:

" Meet Buddy!!    He's around 13 but he's pretty spry for an old guy!! Buddy is very gentle and happy and enjoys long naps.    He loves to lay outside in the sunshine and enjoy the breeze.    Buddy learned the rules of the house very quickly and is house trained.    He is not toy or food aggressive and appreciates you dumping his bowl when he’s almost done so he can get every last bite! He is a gentleman and doesn’t beg for food but he does get excited when he sees his bowl being filled!    He gets along well with people and other dogs and is very friendly.    Buddy takes medication for arthritis and struggles with multiple steps so he will need a home that only has one or two steps to get to the yard.   He would love to mosey up the block with you and then nap the day away by your side!

Please note: This application is forwarded to several Buckeye Basset Hound Rescue volunteers who respond in a coordinated effort. Your personal information will never be shared. If you are contacted and we do not receive a response within two (2) weeks then your application will not be considered.
