DUTTON -

Dutton is such an excellent Basset boy! Sweet, friendly, playful and full of pup energy!

LOVES squeaky plush toys and LOTS of them. Ornery in the best of ways! Very gentle with taking treats/food. Does try peeking on countertops though so is being corrected for that. He does fine in a crate with a little whining to try to guilt you to let him out

Would be good to have a furry playmate for him as he is very active. He does get along with cats/dogs/birds and wants to play with them. He did have children in his previous home and seems like he would enjoy that again (not too young). Not overly vocal at all, unless you leave where he can’t see you. Then you’ll hear him singing for you to come back! He wants to be with you 100% of the time and know what you are doing. He walks beautifully on a leash. Is house trained and has not had any accidents. Just a bundle of love ready to snuggle with his new people! You can’t go wrong with this boy!

Filling out this application does not guarantee that the dog you choose will be available to you nor does it guarantee your application will be approved. 

Applicant/Co-Applicant must be 25 years or older.

Please note: This application is forwarded to several Buckeye Basset Hound Rescue volunteers who respond in a coordinated effort. Your personal information will never be shared. If you are contacted and we do not receive a response within two (2) weeks then your application will not be considered.
